The episode of Willing Willie , a defunct TV5 program, showing a macho dancing kid has caused negative reactions two years ago. Now, the controversy has come back accusing the program’s host Willie Revillame of child abuse. The case was pursued by the Department of Social Welfare and Development as well as the Council for the Welfare of Children. It accuses Willie of “exploiting the vulnerability of a minor” in that much talked-about March 12, 2011 episode.

Kim Chiu’s Instagram account has been hacked. A post Friday morning by the Ina Kapatid Anak star informed her followers that that account had been hacked and she might just make a new account. She also said that a post prior to that was not hers.

Rafael Rosell will soon be seen on afternoon television opposite Bianca King in GMA-7’s upcoming drama Hindi Kita Iiwan . It is Rafael’s second full series since he transferred to the Kapuso network, the first one being Temptation of Wife . In the new project, he will play a prisoner who will hold on to the promise of the girl he loves.

Now down to just nineteen contestants, It’s Showtime’ s Ultimate Kalokalike will have its grand finals on Saturday, June 1, 2013. From 44 semi-finalists, the 19 left will do their best to win the grand prize of P300,000 and, of course, the bragging rights of being the Ultimate Kalokalike. The first and second runners-up, meanwhile, will receive P200,000 and P100,000 respectively.

Ai-Ai delas Alas has already filed a formal complaint against Jed Salang, who was her husband for barely a month. Reports say the comedienne went to the Quezon City Regional Trial Court on Friday to charge former husband of violating Republic Act 9262 or the law more popularly known as Anti-Violence Against Women or their Children.

Jessica Soho, who had been one of the subjects of Vice Ganda’s below-the-belt jokes during his recent concert, has released another statement acknowledging the comedian’s public apology that was aired on Wednesday on It’s Showtime . The vice president of GMA News and Public Affairs admitted in her first statement that she was hurt by Vice’s jokes but the issue, she said, was not about her but of the issue of rape as being a very sensitive topic to be made fun of.

James Yap and Bimby, his son with former wife Kris Aquino, will be able to reunite soon as the Makati Regional Trial Court has dumped the permanent protection order filed by Kris against the basketball player in behalf of their son. Issued on May 21, 2013, the court decision allows James to continue his visitation rights to the 6-year-old.

After eight months of airing, Ina Kapatid Anak will air its finale on June 14, 2013. The series that stars Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Maja Salvador and Enchong Dee started airing on October 8, 2012. The final episode is being described as “most explosive.” With Mio (John Regala) still at large threatening Teresa (Cherry Pie Picache), he will take Celyn (Kim) as a form of “revenge” to his former wife.

Vice Ganda publicly apologized to GMA News vice president Jessica Soho over the Wednesday episode of It’s Showtime . The apology was with regards to the joke the comedian made during his recent Smart Araneta Coliseum concert that offended the popular media personality. Elmo Magalona has joined his father, the late Francis Magalona, in the music video of Kaleidoscope World and even sang with him through the power of modern technology. Kaleidoscope World was released in 1995 as one of the singles in Francis M’s Freeman album. It won the 1996 Awit Award for Best Produced Record of the Year, as well as the 1996 NU 107 Rock Award for Song of the Year. The music video was directed by Raymond Red, and it was the same music video that was masterfully edited to include Elmo like the song was a real duet of the father and son. The Kapuso noontime show got 15.4% and was the most-watched daytime program last Saturday as it aired the grand finals of Pinoy Henyo High Pautakan. It was won by the pair of female students from Muntinlupa National High School.

The finale episode of ABS-CBN’s Little Champ on Friday, May 24, 2013, rated a little higher than usual based on Kantar Media’s data. It got 21.1% national rating, making it the fifth most-watch program on primetime TV. Meanwhile, Be Careful With My Heart was still the highest rating daytime TV show with 27.1%, and Juan Dela Cruz was still the leading primetime program with 34.6%.

Jessica Sanchez performed at the PBS National Memorial Day Concert on Sunday night at the west lawn of the Capitol Building in Washington DC. It was her second year in a row to perform in the annual free concert that honors the men and women who died while serving in the US Armed Forces. D’ Intensity Breakers, Frankendal Fabroa and the Lateral Drift Productions became official Pilipinas Got Talent 4 finalists on Sunday, May 26, 2013. After the second semi-finals performance night on Saturday, D’ Intensity Breakers from Lipa, Batangas got the highest percentage of fan votes with 29.63%. It made them automatically advance to the finals. The group performed a dance routine with a lot of stunts and even included rings of fire that made judges Kris Aquino and Ai-Ai delas Alas stand up from their seats after the performance.

The second semi-finals performance night of Pilipinas Got Talent 4 was held on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the PAGCOR Grand Theater in Parañaque City. The last 6 semi-finalists performed in front of judges Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai delas Alas and Freddie M. Garcia for a chance to be included in the finals. Ai-Ai delas Alas has recently applied for police protection from the Philippine National Police (PNP). It was confirmed by Wilhelm Barlis, director of the PNP-Police Security and Protection Group. The announced 14 party-list groups are the initial winners in the party-list elections of May 13, 2013. Georgina Wilson has broken her silence over her Twitter post regarding Manila Mayor-elect Joseph “Erap” Estrada. In an email she sent to pep.ph through her manager Shirley Kuan, the model and host said that the post was made back in 2009 when she was still in Australia. It is not a reaction to Erap’s recent win as the mayor of Manila.

ABS-CBN’s My Little Juan dropped a little in the national ratings on its second day. Based on Kantar Media’s data, the Juan Dela Cruz prequel only got 13.9% on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, that’s 3.4% lower than what it got during its pilot episode on Monday. As a result, it dropped in the ranking, from daytime’s number 3 during the pilot episode, to daytime’s number 6 on its second day.

In the letter, the TV host expressed his desire to take a break from showbiz at the end of his contract to ponder upon whether he should continue his showbiz career or just devote his time to the business he has established over the years.
