Sarah is paired with Kiko Estrada in the TV series. Also in the lead cast of Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa  TV adaptation is Sid Lucero. And, of course, we all know that he would be playing  kontrabida .

Vice Ganda's McDonald's commercial was a hit when it was released last October. And now she's back with a new one, and he is not alone this time. Vice is with It's Showtime  and Paolo is with EAT . The "rivalry" is even featured in the commercial's script. And while they are noontime rivals, McDo put them together in one TVC, which can be "served" to both madlang pipol  and dabarkads .

Mister Global crowned a new winner on Sunday, November 26th, in Thailand. Out of almost forty contestants feom around the world, India's delegate Jason Dylan Bretfelean emerged as the winner. Jason Dylan succeeded Mister Global 2022 Juan Carlos Ariosa of Cuba. It's interesting to note that despite the pageant being held in Thailand, and despite the owner being Thai, the host delegate didn't make the first cut (Top 20). I'm also sad for Mister Brazil, who, despite looking so handsome, also suffered the same fate. Hong Kong's Oliver Cheung had a first runner-up finish, while Chile's very charming delegate, Alvaro Flores Carvajal, was second runner-up. Making it to the Top 5 were Misters Vietnam and Taiwan. Top 10 also had Mexico, Dominican Republic, Korea, South Africa, and Ecuador. The first cut (Top 15) also included representatives from Myanmar, Nigeria, Switzerland, Panama, and the Philippines.

A teaser for Rewind  starring real life couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes has dropped. Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, the movie is one of the official entries to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) happening on Christmas Day, December 25. screengrab from YouTube/ABS-CBN Star Cinema The teaser shows us that the plot revolves around the life of a married couple and how the wife tries to fix the husband's issues with one of his parents. There's a hint that one of them will die from a vehicular accident, and well, the voice-over says "Life is shorter than you think." Janella Salvador and Jane de Leon will be working together again in the upcoming film, How To Be A Good Wife , which will be directed by Jun Robles Lana from the screenplay written by Keavy Eunice E. Vicente and Fatrick R. Tabada. X/theideafirst_co According to the director, he read the script while he was on a plane back to Manila from New York and despite being jet lagged and exhausted, he couldn't put the script down. "It's smartly and deliciously written," he wrote on X , adding that the plot is not something one would expect. Meanwhile, Janella and Jane first worked together in ABS-CBN's television adaptation of Darna  where they played lead roles. It was aired from August 2022 to February 2023. Also in the movie is Susan Africa who currently appears in ABS-CBN's FPJ's Batang Quiapo . Now netizens are asking if her character in the movie is rich, or poor with perennial cough. Regal Entertainment's horror movie  Shake, Rattle & Roll Extreme  may have failed to make it to the official list of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries, but the good news is, it's going to be shown in cinemas sooner than the festival! Shake, Rattle & Roll Extreme  will open in cinemas on November 29th, the last two days of the Halloween month. The main cast of GMA-7's upcoming Encantadia  reboot, Encantada Chronicles: Sang'gre , has been revealed. Written by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Mark Reyes, the series is slated to be aired in 2024. A few days ago, Bianca Umali was the first one to be revealed as part of the main characters. She will play the role of Sang'gre Terra, the keeper of the Earth Gem, just like her mother Sang'gre Danaya. Kelvin Miranda is Sang'gre Adamus, the keeper of the Water Gem. Faith Da Silva is Sang'gre Flamarra, the keeper of the Fire Gem. Angel Guardin is Sang'gre Deia, keeper of the Air Gem. There will be another cast reveal on November 3. After a three-year hiatus, Enrique Gil is coming back with a new movie, I Am Not Big Bird . Directed by Victor Villanueva under Anima Studios and ABS-CBN's Black Sheep, the movie also stars Pepe Herrera, Nikko Natividad and Red Ollero. It is set to be shown in cinemas soon. Jovy Angel of Floridablanca, Pampanga has recently been crowned Man of the Year Philippines 2023. He will compete in Man of the Year 2023 this coming November in Indonesia. Cosmo Manila's CEO is Marc Cubales, who eventually became the national director of Man of the Year in the Philippines. Instead of holding a new pageant, he just appointed Jovy as the country's delegate to Man of the Year for 2023. Let's wish Jovy good luck and may he bring back home the crown!

Piolo Pascual will scare us all when his latest project, Mallari , hits cinemas soon. The movie is directed by Derick Cabrido under Mentorque Productions in association with Clever Minds, Inc. Mallari  is based on the story of Juan Severino Mallari, a Catholic priest who was also the first-ever recorded Filipino serial killer in the 1800s. Aside from Piolo, the movie also stars JC Santos, Janella Salvador, Elisse Joson, and Gloria Diaz, with the special participation of Mylene Dizon. Kris Aquino is getting better. In a recent Instagram post, she told her followers that she's praying "that in 18 to 20 months i'll reach remission and after 6 months i'll have my doctors' clearances and we can go home. " Ahe further wrote that she misses everyone back in the Philippines as it has been 16 months since she moved to the US for her medical treatment. She also cleared (as urged by her sisters) the current status ofnher love life. "I AM NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP, " she wrote in all caps, adding that they no longer communicate. She, however, gave out no further details because she values her privacy and respects his.

The full trailer for Can't Buy Me Love has been released by ABS-CBN on Monday (September 25th). The series stars the love  team of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, popularly known s DonBelle. Can't Buy Me Love is directed by Mae Cruz Alviar, Cathy Garcia-Sampana, and Ian D. Loreños. It is set to premiere on Netflix on October 13th, iWantTFC on Oct. 14th, and on Primetime Bida on Oct. 16th, 8:45 pm.

Shawn Khrysler Sulit has been appointed to represent the Philippines in Mister Tourism Globe 2023. Mister Tourism Globe 2023 happens this September 25 to 29 in Albay, Philippines. Shawn was previously crown Mister Beaute International PH 2023 when he joined Mister International Philippines last June. He gave up the title before he joined Mister Grand PH 2023, the pageant that appointed him as Mister Tourism Globe PH 2023. Mister International Philippines has just named Daeniel John Felismino of Nueva Ecija and Ryan Kristopher Sacopon of Talisay, Batangas as the runners-up of the pageant's recently-held 2023 edition. The news was revealed on Sunday via the Mister International Philippines' social media pages. Mister International Philippines 2023 was held last June 28, with Austin Catana winning the top sash. 

Ruslan Kulikov of Batangas City and Kenneth Aniban of Cavite won the title of Mister National Universe Philippines 2024 on Wednesday night (June 28th). Mister National Universe Philippines was one of the titles given out during the finals of Mister International Philippines 2023 held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Ruslan and Kenneth will both represent the Philippines next year at the Mister National Universe pageant. I'm quite sure the two young men will have a good chance in the said pageant, given their good looks and ability to impress during interviews. The Philipines also had two representatives during the 2023 edition of Mister National Universe. Michael Ver Comaling wore the Philippine sash and finished 3rd runner-up, and Ivan Sibay wore the Cebu Island sash. 

Mister Quezon City Austin Cabatana was named Mister International Philippines 2023 on Wednesday night, during the grand coronation that took place at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Austin grew up in the US and is currently a student at the College of Saint Benilde. He actually signed with Viva a year ago together with some sexy stars, so is there a chance we will see him on Vivamax in the future? 

Mister National Universe named a new winner last night during the male pageant's finale that took place at the Amari Watergate Bangkok in Thailand. Benedict Yu of Malaysia was named Mister National Universe 2023, succeeding last year's winner, Viet Hoang of Vietnam. Benedict Yu, 28, is a doctor at My Clinic Plus in Kota Kinabalu. He studied MBBS in Manipal, India and also has a Diploma in Men's Health from Australia. In 2021, he was also declared Gentleman of the World Malaysia in a special edition of Bachelor of Malaysia. During Mister National Universe 2023, he bested 21 other candidates including heavy favorites like England's Marcus Charlie Bishop who was named Mister National World 2023; and Thailand's Kritti Nampradit who was named Mister National Globe 2023. Erik Lennart Visser was crowned Mister Universe Tourism 2023 Sunday night in Bali, Indonesia. The Cebu-based Filipino-Dutch model bested seven other contestants to become the successor of 2019 winner Tor Surasak. The tallest among the contestants with his 6'3" height, Erik also won the Best in Formal Wear award. Mister Universe Tourism 2023 was held at the Bali Nusa Dua Theatre in Bali, Indonesia. It was hosted by Simone Nadine Bornilla. Twelve good looking men are competing for the title of Mister Grand Body & Looks Philippines-Bulacan 2023. Finals will be held April 16 in Malolos.
