A new poster of The Avengers has been released featuring the superheroes without their headgears so we can see who’s playing who. Shown in the poster are Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye).

The full trailer of Dahil Sa Pag-ibig has already been released. The upcoming primetime drama series boasts of a powerhouse cast that includes Piolo Pascual , Jericho Rosales , Maricar Reyes , Cristine Reyes and Christopher de Leon . Dahil Sa Pag-ibig will air its pilot episode on March 12, replacing Budoy in ABS-CBN’s primetime block.

Sarah Geronimo’ s very own musical show Sarah G Live premiered on ABS-CBN and it was the second most-watched program nationwide last Sunday based on the survey done by Kantar Media among national households. Sarah G Live got 21.3% of viewers share, just 1% lower than Rated K which got the top slot.

The 28th Star Awards for Movies is going to be held on March 14th at the Meralco Theater in Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City. Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story , Ang Panday 2 and In The Name Of Love lead the nomination list in the mainstream movies, while Thelma , Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank and Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa take the lead among the indie films shown last year. The list for Best Actress looks exciting with Anne Curtis , Angel Locsin , Eugene Domingo and Judy Ann Santos vying for the award. It’s just interesting to note, though, that Maricel Soriano isn’t in the list when she was hailed best actress by the MMFF 2011 for her portrayal of her role in Yesterday Today Tomorrow . Dingdong Dantes is vying for the Star Awards best actor title against Jericho Rosales for their respective MMFF movies last year. Dingdong won in the film festival but we’ll see whose acting Star Awards will vote for on March 14th.

Bela Padilla ’s FHM Philippines March 2012 cover and its cover line really did spark racism issues just like I’ve seen it coming . After FHM’s page was bombarded with comments about the supposed racism, the magazine was prompted to issue an official statement regarding the matter. To appease those who cry “racist,” the said cover wouldn’t be used in print anymore. We will see a different photo of Bela when the issue comes out in print this March. The controversial Al Galang denied that he and Dr. Vicki Belo are in a romantic relationship right now. He, though, admitted during his live guesting in The Buzz this afternoon that the two of them had a harmless flirting going on in the past. He became the talk of the town when his name popped up in Hayden Kho’s tweet which had been immediately deleted. Hayden’s series of tweets on February 21 implied that Al was the reason why he and Vicki separated. Erich Gonzales and Derek Ramsay topbill the horror movie Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang to be released in theaters on March 14, 2012. To be released by Star Cinema and Skylight Films, the movie is a period love story set in the Japanese rule in the Philippines. The cast includes Tetchie Agbayani , Jeffrey Quizon , Mark Gil , Mon Confiado , Sunshine Dizon , Wendell Ramos , Maria Isabel Lopez , DJ Durano , Sue Prado , Dan Alvaro , Princess Punzalan and Sharlene San Pedro . The movie can be said as the start of the separation of Erich and Enchong Dee’ s tandem. Maria la del Barrio , which is on its last week of airing, is said to be their last team-up.

Alice Dixson and Lucy Torres-Gomez are the cover girls of Mega March 2012 where they talk about “defying age and being alpha females.” After Glamorosa , Alice now stars in the TV5 afternoon series Isang Dakot na Luha which will premiere tomorrow, February 27th. In the movie, Rhian plays an actress who is typecast in kontrabida roles. She is the exact opposite of her roles, though, being so sweet, but is yet to find her true love.

A technical director of ABS-CBN got shot in the jaw near the Pinoy Big Brother house on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Crisologo Pangan was shot by two men after he refused to give them his bag that contained his laptop and wallet. He was still able to go to the PBB house to get help from the guard. He was then assisted by the network’s medical team and was brought to the Capitol Medical Center.

Deniesse Joaquin may not have received the lowest votes out of the four nominated housemates but she was the one who went out of the Pinoy Big Brother house tonight for breaking the rulebook. In one conversation, she asked house guest Melissa Cantiveros the perception of the public on her. It’s something that’s really prohibited inside the house. Housemates should really be detached from the outside world while they were there.

Filipino-American Apl.de.ap of the award-winning group Black Eyed Peas is working on a solo album. The said album will feature collaborations with Filipino-American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars and Pinay international singer Charice . YouTube sensation Arjohn Gilbert is also said to be in this album.

Zac Efron recently attended the premiere of The Lorax . At the red carpet, he dropped something while giving the contents of his front pocket to his publicist. The "something" appeared to be a condom. It's hard to see for sure, though, but he immediately picked it up and put the thing at his back pocket. His reaction gave him away. Brian McKnight will be coming to Manila for a concert on March 16, 2012, 8 PM, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum entitled Back with Brian McKnight. Brian's songs are among the Filipino favorites like Back at One and One Last Cry . He had been in Manila before and I'm sure his fans would be glad to know that he's coming back.

A magnitude-5.0 earthquake shook San Isidro, Surigao Del Norte on February 24, 2012 at exactly 1:42 PM. It was tectonic in origin. It was felt at Intensity 4 in Dapa and Gen. Luna, Surigao Del Norte and in Siargao Island. Intensity 3 was felt in Surigao City and Cabadbaran, Agusan Del Sur, while it was felt at Intensity 2 in Carrascal, Surigao Del Sur and Butuan City. No damage and no aftershocks were expected.

Ruffa Gutierrez 's marriage to Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas has recently been annulled as confirmed by lawyers of the actress. Custody of their two children Lorin and Venice was awarded to Ruffa. Ruffa posted the above picture on Twitter earlier today. She and her two girls are currently spending time in Boracay.

A woman gave birth in the back seat of a taxi in New York City. She was with her husband (who was a videographer) on their way to the hospital after she started feeling contractions. The woman said the baby came out without her even pushing forty-five minutes after the first contraction, and only one block away from their house. The baby was born at 6:32 PM of February 20, 2012.

Folded and Hung releases photos of Enrique Gil for the brand's Summer 2012 campaign. The Budoy actor looks hot shirtless in one photo but I know you'd all agree with me when I say he needs a little more working out to define those chest and abdominal muscles.

Piolo Pascual had a photo shoot for Men's Health magazine earlier today. He looked so fit and at the peak of his health on the behind the scenes photos posted on Twitter by ABS-CBN News entertainment reporter Ginger Conejero . This is the second time the Kapamilya hunk is going to be on the cover of the said magazine. The first one was in the January 2010 issue.

Nora Aunor is currently on board Philippine Airlines flight PR 103 from Los Angeles, California on her way to the Philippines. After doing Sa Ngalan ng Ina for TV5 last year, the superstar headed back to the US for the therapy treatment that would restore her voice back.

Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees is currently in Manila for "The Greatest Hits Tour" concert with boy bands A1 and Blue on Saturday, February 25, 8 PM, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Jeff graced It's Showtime earlier this afternoon to promote the concert and he serenaded the hosts and the audience of the noontime show with an a capella rendition of Invisible Man .

Bench has released two new photos of David Archuleta for Bench ad. The American singer was wearing a very boy-next-door ensemble of a color-blocked cardigan, cotton slub tee and jeans. ABS-CBN has released the teaser for the upcoming Dahil sa Pag-ibig which is coming to primetime television this March. The series (previously called Padre de Pamilya and Nang Dahil sa Pag-ibig , stars Piolo Pascual , Jericho Rosales , Cristine Reyes and Maricar Reyes .

Ai-Ai de las Alas topbills an upcoming fantaserye on ABS-CBN titled Wako Wako . She stars opposite Gladys Reyes and Yogo Singh , a child actor formerly with GMA-7. Ai-Ai will play the role of Ai, the goddess of the Arukan (wish creature), while Yogo will play the role of Maki, the kid who will be the friend of the wish elf named Wako. Wako's voice will be done by Pilipinas Got Talent season 1 finalist Ruther Urquia .

Joe Manganiello of True Blood is on the cover of Out magazine's newest issue. Joe plays the role of the werewolf Alcide Herveaux in the hit HBO series True Blood . Before he was cast in the series, though, he played recurring roles in ER , How I Met Your Mother and One Tree Hill .

Vina Morales plays the role of Jane, a nun who left the convent to start her own family, in this Saturday's episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya . In the story, Gina's trust in God will be tested by her husband's unfaithfulness to their marriage.

Bea Alonzo is on the cover of Meg magazine's March 2012 where she talks about "accepting her body and exuding confidence." Bea has an upcoming movie with Derek Ramsay which will be Star Cinema's anniversary presentation this year. To be directed by Olivia Lamansan , it is reported to have a controversial storyline. By controversial, it perhaps means Bea will be more daring in the said movie.

Al Galang , whose name suddenly became controversial when it popped up in one of Hayden Kho 's tweets, gave a statement to Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) through Facebook. Hayden posted Al's alleged letter to Vicki Belo as a "real proof of infidelity." He soon after deleted the Twitter post and retracted it by saying that Vicki never cheated on him and that Al and Nancy Castiglione (who got involved in the issue through Vicki's controversial Twitter post ) have nothing to do with his breakup with the famed doctor. Having been involved in the issue, Al told PEP that he has given Vicki notes and words of encouragement in the past. He doesn't remember that particular letter Hayden posted, though, and to whom it was for.

Bench has uploaded videos of David Archuleta during his official launch as Bench Fix endorser at the TriNoma Activity Center last February 17th. David is now back in the US. His very first acting project, though, TV5's Nandito Ako , has started airing. His first OPM album Forevermore is also going to be released this March.
