Kantar Media National TV Ratings (March 7, 2016) - 'The Story of Us' wins

ABS-CBN primetime programs "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" and "Dolce Amore" both won over their respective rival shows by more than 20% on Monday, March 7, 2016, based on Kantar Media's data. Topbilled by Coco Martin, "Ang Probrinsyano" scored 43.4% beating GMA-7's "Little Nanay" which only got 18.6%. On the other hand, the Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil starrer, "Dolce Amore" got 37.5% compared to the Kapuso Network's "That's My Amboy" which just got 16.4%.

32nd PMPC Star Awards for Movies (2016) - Winners List

The 32nd PMPC Star Awards for Movies (2016) honored the best in mainstream and indie films of 2015 during the awarding ceremony held on Sunday, March 6, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. "Felix Manalo" was a big winner with four awards including best actor for Dennis Trillo (tied with Piolo Pascual for "Silong") who played the title role in this biopic of the Iglesia Ni Cristo founder. 88th Academy Awards Winners Revealed - Leonardo DiCaprio wins first Oscar trophy

Leonardo DiCaprio won his first Oscar trophy on Sunday night, February 28, 2015, during the 88th Academy Awards ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. He won for his performance in "The Revenant" as the American fur trapper Hugh Glass who is famous for surviving a grizzly bear mauling. This was Leonardo's fourth best actor nomination after his respective roles in "The Aviator" (2005), "Blood Diamond" (2007), and "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2014).
