Regal Entertainment's horror movie  Shake, Rattle & Roll Extreme  may have failed to make it to the official list of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries, but the good news is, it's going to be shown in cinemas sooner than the festival! Shake, Rattle & Roll Extreme  will open in cinemas on November 29th, the last two days of the Halloween month. The movie stars Iza Calzado, Jane De Leon, Jane Oineza, RK Bagatsing, Paul Salas, Paolo Gumabao, Miggs Cuaderno, AC Bonifacio, Elle Villanueva, Rob Gomez, Ninong Ry, Donna Cariaga, Angel Guardian, Phi Palmos, Esnyr Ranollo, Sarah Edwards, Bryce Eusebio, Dustin Yu, Mika Reins, Jana Taladro, Jewel Milag, Francis Mata, Girlie Ejercito, Jericho Ejercito, and Ian Gimena, among others. The main cast of GMA-7's upcoming Encantadia  reboot, Encantada Chronicles: Sang'gre , has been revealed. Written by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Mark Reyes, the series is slated to be aired in 2024. A few days ago, Bianca Umali was the first one to be revealed as part of the main characters. She will play the role of Sang'gre Terra, the keeper of the Earth Gem, just like her mother Sang'gre Danaya. Kelvin Miranda is Sang'gre Adamus, the keeper of the Water Gem. Faith Da Silva is Sang'gre Flamarra, the keeper of the Fire Gem. Angel Guardin is Sang'gre Deia, keeper of the Air Gem. There will be another cast reveal on November 3. The Derick Cabrido film, Mallari , has been included in the ten official entries to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). The movie stars Piolo Pascual, Janella Salvador, JC Santos, Elisse Joson, and Gloria Diaz, with the special participation of Mylene Dizon. The ten official entries to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) have been revealed. The festival opens on Christmas Day, December 25th. The 10 official entries to the MMFF 2023 are: 1. After a three-year hiatus, Enrique Gil is coming back with a new movie, I Am Not Big Bird . Directed by Victor Villanueva under Anima Studios and ABS-CBN's Black Sheep, the movie also stars Pepe Herrera, Nikko Natividad and Red Ollero. It is set to be shown in cinemas soon. IG/black_sheepph The movie is about a thirty-something virgin played by Enrique. After his marriage proposal is turned down by his girlfriend, he goes to Thailand for a holiday with his friends. He is, however, gets mistaken for a famous Thai porn star and hilarious events ensue. Quite ironic, no? Jovy Angel of Floridablanca, Pampanga has recently been crowned Man of the Year Philippines 2023. He will compete in Man of the Year 2023 this coming November in Indonesia. Cosmo Manila's CEO is Marc Cubales, who eventually became the national director of Man of the Year in the Philippines. Instead of holding a new pageant, he just appointed Jovy as the country's delegate to Man of the Year for 2023. Let's wish Jovy good luck and may he bring back home the crown!

Piolo Pascual will scare us all when his latest project, Mallari , hits cinemas soon. The movie is directed by Derick Cabrido under Mentorque Productions in association with Clever Minds, Inc. Mallari  is based on the story of Juan Severino Mallari, a Catholic priest who was also the first-ever recorded Filipino serial killer in the 1800s. Aside from Piolo, the movie also stars JC Santos, Janella Salvador, Elisse Joson, and Gloria Diaz, with the special participation of Mylene Dizon. Kris Aquino is getting better. In a recent Instagram post, she told her followers that she's praying "that in 18 to 20 months i'll reach remission and after 6 months i'll have my doctors' clearances and we can go home. " Ahe further wrote that she misses everyone back in the Philippines as it has been 16 months since she moved to the US for her medical treatment. She also cleared (as urged by her sisters) the current status ofnher love life. "I AM NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP, " she wrote in all caps, adding that they no longer communicate. She, however, gave out no further details because she values her privacy and respects his.
