Gary Valenciano headlines TFC's 20th anniversary celebration in Guam

In celebration of The Filipino Channel’s (TFC) 20 years in the service of Pinoys worldwide, the premier Filipino network sets another momentous gathering that highlights the “Galing ng Filipino” (Greatness of Filipinos) through the salient characteristic of kabutihan or kindness.  As part of the year-long celebration of the network’s anniversary, a meaningful event for a cause is all set with the “Galing ng Filipino: A TFC 20 Celebration” happening on the 8th of November, Saturday at the University of Guam Fieldhouse.

The network has been anchoring on the values that Filipinos possess, in different Filipino events all around the world this year starting at the kick-off of the anniversary celebrations in April at the Santa Clara Convention Center in the heart of Silicon Valley in the United States of America.
This time the celebration will be led by the TFC’s 20th year anniversary Ambassador and Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano together with his son Super Selfie Youtube sensation Gab Valenciano, and singer-songwriter sessionista Aiza Seguerra.  Host, singer, and comedienne Cacai Bautista will also join in the celebration.

Kim Chiu, Coco Martin bring holiday cheers to Pinoys in Nagoya

It was an otherwise cold and chilly December night but the Nagoya Civic Assembly Hall (Kokaido) turned up the heat as Kapamilya stars shared an early Christmas treat at the “Pamaskong Handog sa Nagoya.”  There were deafening shrills one after the other as TFC in partnership with Celebrity Starz and Matsui Shuzou unveiled Kapamilya stars Coco Martin, Bamboo, Cacai Bautista and Kim Chiu one after the other.

“Pamaskong Handog sa Nagoya,” supported by Western Union, 7Bank and Globe Telecom, was the fifth major TFC event in the area since 2008.  Opening the event was comedienne Bautista who did not disappoint the crowd with her funny antics.  But more than her usual comic spiels, Bautista surprised everybody with her rendition of a Broadway medley which showcased her real singing prowess.

Ate Gay leaves ‘Wowowillie’

Ate Gay has left Wowowillie after the show removed him as the finale of the mini-concierto segment.

The Nora Aunor impersonator didn’t show up for the day after new co-hosts Cacai Bautista and Joy Viado replaced him as finale. He said it could have been okay if they replaced him as the last performer if only the show’s staff informed him beforehand.
