Jona sings 'Asintado' theme song

Jonalyn Viray sings the theme song of the upcoming ABS-CBN series, Asintado, which stars Shaina Magdayao, Paulo Avelino, Aljur Abrenica and Julia Montes. The series starts airing January 15.

The theme song is a remake of Roselle Nava's Dahil Mahal Na Mahal Kita. The music video premiered Wednesday night during FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.

Jona to hold 'Queen of the Night' concert this November

Fans of Jona will surely be happy to know about this: the Birit Queens member will star in her very own concert titled "Queen of the Night" this November!


She has topbilled her own concert before when she was still with GMA-7 (and still called Jonalyn Viray), but since she has gained more fans (and exposure) when she transferred to ABS-CBN, this upcoming event will surely make more noise.

Jona makes 'Tonight With Boy Abunda' debut

Jona made her first guesting on ABS-CBN's "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. The singer has just recently transferred to the Kapamilya network after her ten-year stay with GMA-7.

Formerly known as Jonalyn Viray, Jona said that she made the switch (from Kapuso to Kapamilya) because she has to grow as an artist. She also revealed that Star Music's plans for her had been her deciding factor on making the career move.

Jonalyn Viray now a Kapamilya

Jonalyn Viray will be interpreting the song Maghihintay Ako composed by Dante Bantatua, an official entry to the Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs 2016.

Himig Handog is a multimedia songwriting competition organized by ABS-CBN and Star Records. The 2016 finals will be held at the KIA Theater on April 24.

Remember that Random Girl in SM Megamall who took YouTube by storm by singing And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going? She’s now getting some real attention because on Sunday, she will be on GMA-7’s Party Pilipinas!

Jonalyn Viray, one of the mainstays of the Sunday musical show, recently posted a picture of her with Random Girl, Zendee Rose Tenerefe. And they seem to be having a duet this Sunday!

Jonalyn and Julie Anne sing Sarah and Angeline!

It’s so nice to hear Kapuso singers sing the songs popularized by Kapamilya singers.

For instance, Jonalyn Viray did her rendition of Sarah Geronimo’s Forever’s Not Enough in Party Pilipinas.

Not only that, but Julie Anne San Jose was also very well-applauded when she sang Angeline Quinto’s Patuloy ang Pangarap last Sunday in the Kapuso

24th Aliw Awards (2011) Winners

GMA-7 stars are big winners at the recently held 24th Aliw Awards for Live Entertainment last November 8th at the Newport Theater of Performing Arts at Resorts World in Pasay City.

The most coveted title, Entertainer of the Year, went to international star Charice. She toppled fellow international artists Lea Salonga and Lani Misalucha as well as big local stars Sarah Geronimo and Vice Ganda.
