Luis Manzano, the new host of Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal, is said to be so happy lately as he is successful in both his career and love life.
Lucky, as he is fondly called by his mom, was flattered to know that he was the personal choice of Kris Aquino to replace her as host of the show. The Queen of All Media begged off from hosting Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal because she has acting projects to attend to aside from her daily morning show Kris TV.
Luis is excited about the game show that will begin airing this coming Saturday, February 25th. It features some new things other than the usual routine that Filipino viewers have gotten used to. For one, the original 26K Girls will now be just 24K. He also described Banker as now being more malupit. There will also be offers to the contestant's family as well as options to swap the briefcase.
But more than his luck of being tapped as the new host the hit game show, Luis is also lucky in his love life with girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado. The two even spent their very first Valentine's Day together diving in Anilao, Batangas.
His friends say he changed a lot ever since Jennylyn became his girlfriend, like he would cancel a night out with his friends just because the Kapuso actress decides to drop by his house. He is also said to be more attentive with Jennylyn and his friends were witness to that.
On the question if he is ready to settle down, he said he's not getting any younger. he doesn't want to take Jennylyn by surprise with the proposal of marriage, though. He's taking it one step at a time with the actress.
