The phrase "Julie Anne San Jose Day" was patterned after "Sarah G. Day" which made it to the number one spot of the trending topics list both in the Philippines and worldwide yesterday. The trending of "Sarah G. Day" was an effort made by her fans because she was in three ABS-CBN shows yesterday. It's still the top trending topic in the Philippines until now.
Meanwhile, Julie Anne signed a recording contract today, February 20, 2012, with GMA Records. To express how happy they were with their idol's accomplishment, Julie Anne's fans called this day a Julie Anne San Jose Day and made it trend on Twitter.
Julie Anne will soon record her debut album which is set for release this summer.
Julie Anne is known for her version of Nicki Minaj's Superbass which became very popular on YouTube. She also performed the song as a front act during David Archuleta's Manila concert in July last year.
