Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez made it through to the top 24 of American Idol 11.
Jessica, 16, auditioned in San Diego, California. She sang (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman while the three judges voluntarily played back-up singers. Watch her audition video below.
In Las Vegas, Jessica teamed up with Deandre Brackensick (who got eliminated in season 10 during Green Mile) and Candice Glover. The three performed It Doesn't Matter Anymore and the judges even gave them a standing ovation. Jessica and Deandre eventually made it to the top 42. Las Vegas performance below.
Before American Idol, Jessica joined the first season of America's Got Talent when she was 11. She didn't make it to the finals but she nevertheless showcased her singing capabilities by singing Celine Dion's I Surrender.
Only 14 of the American Idol 11 top 24 contestants have been revealed. The other 10 will be announced in tomorrow's episode.
