Bench presents David Archuleta as its newest endorser

Bench presented American singer David Archuleta as its latest endorser in an event held on February 17th at the TriNoma Activity Center.

Like in most Bench events, it was attended by the brand's honcho Ben Chan.

Fans of David and of Bench crowded the mall and David was so gracious that even if he was only set to do two songs that day, he gave in to the requests of the audience to sing more. Among the songs he serenaded the crowd with were Crush, Nandito Ako and A Thousand Miles.

The American Idol 7 runner-up arrived in Manila on January 13th for his very first acting job – as Josh Bradley in TV5's Nandito Ako. The pilot episode of the mini-series will air this Monday, January 20th, and is much-awaited by his local fans.

He has already finished taping for Nandito Ako but had to extend his stay in the country when new projects started pouring in. The Bench endorsement was one of them.

Upon going back to the US, David will only have a month left before he goes on a two-year mission for his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The missionary work is required of every Mormon man and is done to serve God and serve the other people.

He admitted, though, that he doesn't know if he would start from scratch again after being gone for two years, but say he trusts God and he knows He will provide a way when he gets back.
