Luis Miguel “Migz” Villafuerte has recently won the elections as governor of Camarines Sur, making him the youngest ever governor in the Philippines at 24. It can be recalled, however, that he was linked to Sarah Geronimo at one point with rumors saying he was courting the singer-actress.
In a recent interview with dzMM, Migz clarified that he did not court Sarah, saying he sent her flowers back in 2011 because he wanted to be friends with her.
“Hindi po nililigawan. Gusto ko muna siya makilala, maging kaibigan, and we’ll see from there,” he said.
The governor-elect also became visible in the entertainment scene in 2011 as an “online hunk” of Cosmopolitan Philippines magazine where he was photographed shirtless.
