The pep squad from Francisco P. Felix Memorial National High School was declared grand champion of Pinoy Henyo High Sayawan, a cheerdance competition of GMA-7’s noontime show Eat Bulaga!, on Saturday.
The group received P500,000 in cash, and of course, the bragging rights of being an Eat Bulaga! cheerdance champion.
There was supposed to be only one winner, but the judges, which included Marian Rivera, Julie Ann San Jose and Georcelle Dapat-Sy of the G-Force, gave a Special Citation For Outstanding Performance to the Las Piñas East National High School pep squad. They received P50,000 in cash.
The Pinoy Henyo High Sayawan cheerdance competition grand finals was held on May 18, 2013 at the Aliw Theater in Pasay City.
