Folk dancers and drifters get through to Top 12 of ‘Pilipinas Got Talent 4’

The Bughaw Folkloric Dance Group and the Lateral Drift Productions are the last two semi-finalists of Pilipinas Got Talent 4.

The folk dancers from Cavite got the majority of votes that’s why they automatically advanced to the Top 12.

The drifters from Manila, meanwhile, still had to perform once again along with the VMA dancers from Bacolod. They got the second and third highest votes respectively.

In the end, however, judges Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai de las Alas and Freddie M. Garcia unanimously voted for the Lateral Drift Productions saying dancing is common and that they want something new for the fourth season.

Other quarterfinalists that did not make the cut were the Rosenrei Synchro Sirens, Balungao Robotic Dancers, and the GenSan Stunt Team.

Bughaw Folkloric Dance Group and Lateral Drift Productions now join other semi-finalists that include Chaeremon Basa, The Miss Tres, Zilent Overload, Eumee Lyn Capile, MP3 Band, Symmetry, D’ Intensity Breakers, Tito Cris Castro, Roel Manlangit and Frankendal Fabroa.

Now that the Top 12 is complete, do you already have a favorite to win this season?
