‘Anna Karenina’ remake stars Krystal, Barbie and Joyce; to start airing in June (Teaser Video)

GMA-7 will bring back the story of Anna, Karen and Nina in the remake of the hit 90s series Anna Karenina.

Krystal Reyes, Barbie Forteza, Joyce Ching

The remake will star Krystal Reyes as Anna, Barbie Forteza as Karen, and Joyce Ching as Nina.

Of course, they will be with their respective love teams. Krystal will be paired with Julian Trono as Brix, Barbie will again be paired with Derrick Monasterio who play the role of Vincent, and Joyce will have as tandem Hiro Magalona as Bryan.

The original series ran for six years (1996-2002) and starred Antoinette Taus, Sunshine Dizon and Kim delos Santos as Anna, Karen and Nina respectively. The roles of Brix, Vincent and Bryan was originally played by Dingdong Dantes, Polo Ravales and Dino Guevarra.

The Kapuso Network has already released a teaser for the drama series which is set to air in June. Check it out below.
