ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime has been reigning in its timeslot for quite some time now, but it has received particularly high ratings on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 28 and 29, 2013, based on Kantar Media’s data.
The speeches that Vice Ganda did on those two days helped boost the national rating of the Kapamilya program. On Tuesday, the comedian made a dramatic apology to the executives of the network for being absent for days. It was because he felt depressed and needed to be with his family.
On Wednesday, his speech was another apology, this time to those he offended by his jokes in his recent Smart Araneta Coliseum concert. The viewers tuned in to wait for what he had to say regarding his jokes about Jessica Soho that recently became controversial. He didn’t fail those who waited because he did the speech, just like the previous one, at the start of the show.
