Elmo Magalona has joined his father, the late Francis Magalona, in the music video of Kaleidoscope World and even sang with him through the power of modern technology.
Kaleidoscope World was released in 1995 as one of the singles in Francis M’s Freeman album. It won the 1996 Awit Award for Best Produced Record of the Year, as well as the 1996 NU 107 Rock Award for Song of the Year.
The music video was directed by Raymond Red, and it was the same music video that was masterfully edited to include Elmo like the song was a real duet of the father and son.
Released as Kaleidoscope World Forever More, a lot of those who have watched the video found it touching to see the “Master Rapper” and his son who is now all grown up, singing together.
Elmo was only 14 when his father died of acute myelogenous leukemia. He is now 19.
