Julia Barretto is going to make a television debut via ABS-CBN.
The pretty teen who is the daughter of erstwhile couple Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla is reportedly going to play the role of Cofradia in the TV remake of the 1950 movie which was originally starred by Gloria Romero.
Julia had somehow made her presence felt during last year's Star Magic Ball where she was awarded as Princess of the Night alongside Julian Ejercito, another new actor from a clan of celebrities, who was awarded its male counterpart.
Meanwhile, Julia is already quite a sensation on the internet despite not having been launched yet. Her official Twitter account already has over 77K followers and there are several fan pages of her on Facebook. Her official page has over 118K likes.
With that pretty face and undeniably Barretto genes, I'm sure Julia will soon give some teen actresses around a run for their money. The question is, who will the Kapamilya Network pair her with? Will it be Julian who is part of Star Magic 2013 that's going to be launched this March?
