Dingdong Dantes topbills ‘Dance of the Steelbars’; trailer released (Video)

Dingdong Dantes will dance once again! No, he’s not reuniting with the Abztract Dancers. He will dance as an inmate in the upcoming movie Dance of the Steelbars!

Dance of the Steelbars

The movie was obviously inspired by the dancing inmates of Cebu and the story will revolve around how dance will change the lives (or at least their perspective) of the main characters who are all convicted of crimes they have or have not committed.

Presented by Portfolio Productions and GMA Films, the movie also stars Irish actor Patrick Bergin (Sleeping With The Enemy), Joey Paras, Gabe Mercado, Kathleen Hermosa , Mon Confiado, Maila Damian, Thou Reyes and Ricky Davao. It is directed by Cesar Apolinario and Marnie Manicad from the script written by Cris Lim. It opens in theaters May 22, 2013.
