Fifteen contestants out of American Idol 12’s Top 20 have already been revealed after Wednesday night’s (Thursday morning Manila time) episode. The last ten of the girls performed for the sudden death round where half of them would stay and become part of the Top 20, and sadly, half of them would have to go home.
Last week, Filipino-American Adriana Latonio impressed the judges with her rendition of Aretha Franklin’s Ain’t No Way, thus, making it to the Top 20. Last night, however, another Fil-Am Jett Hermano failed to deliver with her slow version of Rihanna’s Only Girl In The World and was sent home.
One more Pinoy, Bryant Tadeo, will be performing in the last Sudden Death round on Thursday night (Friday morning in Manila). Let’s cross our fingers that he will also advance to the Top 20.
