Superbook Reunion features special screening of ‘A Giant Adventure’

I was a kid when Superbook was extremely popular. I remember it aired late afternoons almost before my sister’s favorite soap opera.

I would always get excited when the episode would be about something my Nanay has already told me the story of, and I’d be too eager to tell her about it when she comes home from work.

Now, however, cartoons like Superbook which help kids learn more about the Bible are replaced with anime, of which I am not a fan of.

Good thing Superbook is back. CBN Asia is in fact having a ‘Superbook Reunion’ this Saturday at the Lighthouse Christian Community Center in Buencamino St., Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The event features a special screening of A Giant Adventure episode.

Be with other Superbook fans from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and enjoy other activities like face painting!

Tickets sell for only P150, available at LCCC (772-1088) and at CBN Asia (812-4747).

Sounds like fun, eh? It is a fundraising event but, of course, you can turn it into a family day by all means.
