Ronnie Ricketts is back in the big screen via the action comedy The Fighting Chefs which he also directed and wrote. It opens March 6, 2013.
Alongside Ronnie, GMA-7’s Kusina Master, Boy Logro, headlines this movie and it’s so nice to know that his comic (and cooking) talents can be seen not only on television but in the movies as well.
Hero Angeles and Joross Gamboa, who are both products of ABS-CBN’s first Star Circle Quest, are reunited in this movie. Careers of both have dimmed years ago compared to their co-finalists Melissa Ricks (last seen in Kapamilya Network’s Walang Hanggan) and Sandara Park (now Dara Park of the popular Korean girl group 2NE1).
Dinky Doo is also in the cast. I think I’d find it hard to laugh at his efforts this time, after news about scamming the critically-ill Sammy Lagmay has surfaced.
The sexy model-actor John Hall is also one of the main characters in the movie, as well as Vandolph, Jeffrey Santos, Arci Muñoz and Marella Ricketts.
Co-starring are Jade Lopez, Roi Vinzon, Roy Alvarez, Yoyong Martirez, Hideaki Torio, Shalala, Mark Gil, Roldan Aquino, Onyok Velasco, Gene Padilla, Bruce Ricketts, Nadine Lustre and a lot more.
