Martin Nievera was happy to announce that his talk show Martin Late@Night will be back on March 1, 2013.
The singer took to Twitter to tell his followers about it:
“Your late night will never be the same. You asked for it you got it! “Martin Late@Night”- FRIDAY MARCH 1st. Where else, but on ABS-CBN CH.2”
Martin proved that he could host a solo talk show when he did Martin After Dark (MAD) from 1988 to 1997 on GMA-7. He then transferred to ABS-CBN and the network gave him Martin Late@Night which ran from 1998 to 2002.
More than a decade after, the Kapamilya Network decided to revive the talk show, which is a good thing as we don’t have talks shows like that anymore aside from Jojo Alejar’s which is so parental guidance and has very little following.
The teaser released by ABS-CBN for Martin Late@Night features a laughing set of dentures, and even if they don’t say whose laugher it is from, it is unmistakably Martin’s.
