Jett Hermano fails to get through to Top 20 of ‘American Idol 12’

Jett Hermano, ‘the other Filipina’ in American Idol 12, failed to make it to the Top 20 and her performance didn’t impress all four judges unlike Adriana Latonio’s who got praises from all four of them.

But despite her vocal abilities, could Jett’s destiny already been predetermined when Adriana, who performed last week ahead of her, got into the Top 20? I think AI doesn’t want two girl contestants who are both Filipinas competing in the show and overshadowing the Americans.

Well, it already happened before in season 3 when Jasmine Trias and Camille Velasco both entered the Top 12 and perhaps producers don’t want it to happen again. Just my two cents, though, because for me, Jett’s performance was better than Adriana’s which was a little shaky. And I think Jett would get through if she performed ahead of Adriana.
