‘Juan Dela Cruz’ reaches all-time high in national TV ratings

Two weeks after its premiere, Juan Dela Cruz has truly conquered the hearts of Pinoy televiewers as it crossed the 40 percent mark in national TV ratings on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, based on Kantar Media’s data.

Juan Dela Cruz

Topbilled by Primetime Prince Coco Martin, the series got 40.5% national rating, its all-time high so far. It was proof enough that the action-fantasy series is now one of the primetime leaders, the other one being Ina Kapatid Anak. The two programs alternate on the number one spot ever since Juan Dela Cruz premiered.

Meanwhile, JDC’s rival GMA-7 program Indio only got 17.6% or almost 23 points less.

I wonder what will happen to Coco’s program if Juan (his character) already knew what he could do with the bakal na krus. All the fight scenes between him and the aswangs (of which Juan is half of) will surely surge its viewership even more.

Don’t forget to follow the story of Juan Dela Cruz, it airs weeknights after the evening news TV Patrol on ABS-CBN.
