Gloc-9’s lyrics has always been story-telling in rap form, and with his expertise in his craft, I have always found myself focusing on the words of his songs everytime I hear them play.
His latest release, Hindi Mo Nadinig, is no exception. The story centers on three characters that got involved in love, betrayal and eventually, murder.
Jay Durias of South Border sings the chorus and plays the piano. What’s more engaging with the music video, however, are the actors who acted out the story in the lyrics - Edgar Allan Guzman, Kean Cipriano, and Sarah Abad-Contreras, the wife of Kamikazee frontman Jay Contreras.
The three were equally good in the music video, and while we’re used to seeing Edgar Allan and Kean act, it is surprising to find out that Jay has an actress of a wife.
