Aiza Seguerra still part of ‘Be Careful With My Heart’

ABS-CBN belied the rumors that says Aiza Seguerra resigned from the hit romantic comedy Be Careful With My Heart.

Through a statement released by Bong R. Osorio, head of the network’s Integrated Corporate Communications Division, Aiza’s character Kute is an integral part of the story and there’s no truth that she won’t be seen in the program anymore.

Aiza Seguerra is a valued member of the top-rating Kapamilya daytime series “Be Careful With My Heart” family and her character, Kute, is integral to the narrative of the show. It is not true that she has resigned from the show.

Rumors about Aiza’s leaving the show started when the daytime series was moved to a later timeslot, thus, competing against GMA-7’s noontime show Eat Bulaga!

On January 14, the Kapamilya series started airing 11:45 AM up to 12:30 PM, Mondays through Fridays. Eat Bulaga!, meanwhile, airs 12:00 NN so its first 30 minutes is pitted against the rom-com of which Aiza is part of.

People speculated that since Aiza owes her showbiz career to Eat Bulaga! (the noontime show discovered her when she was three years old), she would leave the show to respect her “roots.”

But then, now we know that those rumors/speculations are not true as per Bong Osorio’s statement.
