Dingdong Dantes is the March 2013 cover boy of StarStudio magazine where he was pictured leaning on a sportscar that is part of his car collection.
The award-winning actor shared with the magazine some personal photos taken during his childhood, during his rough road to fame, plus his passions and loves.
Also seen on the cover are some of his travel photos with girlfriend Marian Rivera in Palawan and Cambodia as the edition is also the mag's Big Summer Travel Special.
In the cover story, the Kapuso actor revealed his desire to do a biopic of Benigno Aquino, Jr., the late father of President Noynoy Aquino and whose death has sparked the 1986 People Power. And Dingdong doesn't just want to star in it, he also would like to co-produce it with Star Cinema!
Why Star Cinema, you might ask, when he's a Kapuso? Well it's for the obvious reason that the ABS-CBN film outfit was the one who gave him the back-to-back Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Best Actor awards - for Segunda Mano in 2011 and for One More Try in 2012.
"Kung dati naman naisip kong imposible 'yun, I don't think it's impossible anymore," he said. "Lahat naman posible, basta may magandang intensyon, magandang proyekto."
Last year, he starred in and produced the movie Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles. It was also the first movie of his own production company, Agostodos Pictures.
The biopic of Ninoy sounds like a promising project. But do you think it will push through? If so, I wonder who will be tapped to play the role of Cory... and of Kris!
