Growing Up is topbilled by perhaps the hottest young dramatic actresses we have today – Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo of the Mara Clara fame. Also in the cast are Diego Loyzaga and Daniel Padilla as their respective leading men, plus Neil Coleta, Kiray Celis, Yen Santos, EJ Jallorina and Maricar Reyes. The teen-oriented show is directed by Lino Cayetano.

Mara Clara stars Julia Montes, Kathryn Bernardo, and Diego Loyzaga will be back on national television beginning September 4, Sunday, which marks the premiere of ABS-CBN's newest teen-oriented show, Growing Up. They will be joined by Daniel Padilla, a new teen star that I'm sure teenage girls would love.
Storyline:
Ella and Tammy (Kathryn and Julia respectively) together with their friends would do everything to help their favorite teacher (played by Maricar Reyes) when they found out she was sick. They would join different contests to come up with the right amount to help their teacher. They would encounter trials along the way, and at the same time learn valuable life lessons with regards to themselves, their dreams and about falling in love.
Directed by Lino Cayetano, Growing Up also stars Neil Coleta, Kiray Celis, Yen Santos and EJ Fallurin.

Bench has released the Pinoy Lab ad featuring the Kapamilya teen star Diego Loyzaga on the brand's Facebook page. The poster has been on display on some Bench stores for a while now.
The 16-year-old 5'11" cutie is considered as showbiz royalty. His father is actor Cesar Montano and his mom, lounge singer-turned-actress Teresa Loyzaga, was also very popular back in the days. Teresa is sister to Bing Loyzaga and the Loyzaga brothers of the Philippine Basketball Association. I assume that Diego got his height from the Loyzaga clan, and here's hoping that he also got their excellent basketball playing skills.
Diego is in the cast of ABS-CBN's upcoming teen-oriented show titled Growing Up together with Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo. The show will replace the Sunday afternoon teen drama, Good Vibes, which is ending soon.

After the highly-successful remake of Emil Cruz, Jr.'s Mara Clara, ABS-CBN already has an upcoming tv show for its stars Julia Montes, Kathryn Bernardo, Albie Casiño, and Diego Loyzaga as revealed by ABS-CBN's AdProm Head Eric John Salut on Twitter last night.
He confirmed that the four teen stars are going to star in a show titled Growing Up when he answered a question from @myautumnangel15 asking if the rumor was true.
Salut further tweeted that "#GrowingUp will be directed by the teen-oriented show expert @linocayetano."
Diego Loyzaga made his debut on last night's episode of the hit ABS-CBN teleserye, the remake of Mara Clara. He's reprising the role of Derrick which was originally played by the late Rico Yan.
In the remake, Derrick is an adopted son of a town mayor. His first scene shows him getting into a fight with two young men for throwing insults at him regarding his biological father who's in jail. Action star in the making?

Diego Loyzaga has made a buzz when he signed a 3-year contract with ABS-CBN, much more so when it was reported that he will join the cast of the hit series, Mara Clara.
Last Friday, Mara Clara's teaser already showed Diego. From what the teaser showed, the newcomer will be paired with Kathryn Bernardo (Mara) and will reprise the role of Derrick, originally done by the late Rico Yan.

Mara Clara has put us in a guessing game as to who Utoy really is. Some speculates that it will be played by the newcomer Carlos Diego Loyzaga, but others say Utoy is Christian (Albie Casiño), an old character in the series.
Utoy, the character who saved Mara (Kathryn Bernardo) from the explosion, plays an important role in the series. And rumor has it that Utoy will finally be revealed on either tonight or tomorrow night's Mara Clara episode.
To make the guessing game more exciting, a teaser was shown last night with clues on who Utoy is.

Kathryn Bernardo reveals that she and Carlos Diego Loyzaga are schoolmates in O.B. Montessori in Greenhills, San Juan.
The pretty actress who plays Mara in ABS-CBN's hit primetime series Mara Clara even reveals that there was some sort of a commotion when Diego first transferred to their school from Australia. Being the son of Teresa Loyzaga and Cesar Montano, the cute teen was instantly popular.
Kathryn says, though, that they've never been introduced to each other. She sees him in school but doesn't personally know him.
So imagine her surprise when she learned that Diego has signed a three-year contract with ABS-CBN and will be joining the show she stars in!
Not only that, Carlos Diego Loyzaga will reprise the role played by the late Rico Yan in the original Mara Clara version. That means Diego will be partnered with Kathryn Bernardo's character!
Meanwhile, Diego says it's okay for him to be known as Cesar Montano's son. For a newbie like him, he sees it as an advantage. He's also aware that his father has put so much dedication in his craft and Diego wants to give as much dedication in his showbiz career, too. But that doesn't mean he'll stop studying like other young celebrities do. Diego says his parents have made it clear to him that school should still be his priority.

There is indeed much excitement with Carlos Diego Loyzaga's joining ABS-CBN's hit primetime soap, Mara Clara.
Speculations about his role are being talked about now especially in the Mara Clara thread over at PEX.
But whether Diego will be playing Utoy or become the love triangle between the Mara-Christian love team, I'm sure the televiewers will be just as equally delighted with the cute 15-year-old's inclusion in the show.
