Albie Casiño takes on a gay role in 'MMK'
Albie Casiño plays a gay role in this Saturday's (October 15, 2016) episode of ABS-CBN's "Maalaala Mo Kaya," Asia's longest-running drama anthology.
Albie portrays the character of Bong, a gay boy who decides to come out after his father passed away only to find out that his mother, Lolet, knew (and has accepted) his true identity all along.

Jake Ejercito is the father of Andi Eigenmann's daughter, Albie Casiño vindicated!
Albie Casiño's name is now officially cleared of the controversy with regards to being the biological father of Andi Eigenmann's daughter. The scandal that shook the then 18-year-old actor's showbiz career hampered what could have been a budding superstardom. He's vindicated five years later.
The confirmation that Albie is not the father of Andi's daughter, Ellie, came from Max Eigenmann (Andi's half-sister) during an interview in "Good Times With Mo," where she said that a DNA test indeed took place which proved Jake Ejercito is the father.
"They did a test. Yeah, he [Jake] is the dad," Max told DJ Mo Twister in the interview.
Jake is the on-again, off-again boyfriend of Andi. He's the son of Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada. While he's not in showbiz, he has an online following which more than doubled when he appeared as Maine Mendoza's classmate in "Eat Bulaga's" KalyeSerye segment.
Jake would constantly post photos of Ellie on his Instagram, the last one being three weeks ago. It was a photo of a sleeping Ellie which he captioned, "There are a million memories I hope you won't forget."
Jake and Andi have recently separated.
In June 2011, Andi's pregnancy was first confirmed by her mother, actress Jaclyn Jose. Albie's name eventually came out as being the father of the child, but the actor consistently denied it.
"Mara Clara," the series where he was paired with Kathryn Bernardo, has just ended that time.
After the controversy pointing him as the father of Andi's baby, his projects with ABS-CBN became few and far between.
Last year, however, he was given the role of Jigs in "On The Wings Of Love," putting him as the third wheel in the love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre (JaDine). Most recently, he appeared in "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano." He's also currently doing a movie titled "Pwera Usog."
With his name now cleared of the Andi Eigenmann controversy, let's hope more projects come in the way of Albie and may his showbiz career continue to flourish.
Meanwhile, he has posted a very simple but meaningful "thank you" on his Instagram which was received well by his followers with comments that mostly congratulate him for now being "cleared."

Andi Eigenmann denies having anything to do with Albie Casiño’s Fiamma assault
While admitting the fact that she splashed wine on Albie Casiño’s face, Andi Eigenmann denied that she had anything to do with the young actor being beaten up early this morning at the parking lot of Fiamma bar in Jupiter St., Makati City.
“I was inside when it happened. I believe it should be acceptable for him to accuse me of such a thing, but I honestly don’t have anything to do with it,” Andi told ABS-CBNnews.com.

Albie Casiño was reportedly rushed to Makati Medical Center early morning of May 5 for sustaining serious injuries during a fight with Andi Eigenmann and her male friends.
The ex-lovers were both at the Fiamma Bar in Jupiter St., Makati City early this morning and Andi couldn’t seem to stand being in one place at the same time with Albie.

"Aswang" – New Movie Poster and Trailer
Regal Entertainment has released a new poster and trailer of Aswang which will be shown on November 2, 2011. The movie stars Lovi Poe as one of the "abwak," a group of creatures that can crawl under the soil and who loves drinking human blood and eating humans alive.
Aswang also stars Paulo Avelino, Jillian Ward and Albie Casiño together with Joem Bascon, Bembol Roco, Precious Lara Quigaman, Niña Jose and Marc Abaya.

Andi Eigenmann to Name Her Child After MLKI Character
Andi Eigenmann will give birth next month, but has she already forgiven the baby's father for abandoning her and the baby?
In an interview with Boy Abunda in last Sunday's episode of The Buzz, the October cover girl of StarStudio magazine was straightforward in answering that she has not. "The only reason is because walang nanghihingi ng tawad sa akin..." the young mom explained.
Last month, Andi named Albie Casiño as the father of her unborn through an entry in her blog.
Andi was also interviewed by Kris Aquino in today's episode of Kris TV. In the interview, the pregnant actress revealed that while she hasn't decided on the first name yet, her child's second name will be Gabrielle. It was Andi's mom's (Jaclyn Jose) choice. It was also the name of Andi's character in Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, the soap she starred in when news about her pregnancy broke out. She, though, personally chose Eli to be the baby's nickname.
In the same interview, Andi revealed that she was supposed to play Maria in Maria la del Barrio. The role went to Erich Gonzales because of Andi's sudden pregnancy.

"Aswang" – Movie Poster and Trailer
Regal Entertainment has released a poster and trailer for the upcoming movie remake of Aswang.
Topbilled by Alma Moreno in the original version, the movie remake stars Lovi Poe, Paulo Avelino, Jillian Ward, and Albie Casiño together with Joem Bascon, Bembol Roco, Precious Lara Quigaman, Niña Jose and Marc Abaya.
Aswang, which was first rumored to be released in 3D, is directed by Jerrold Tarog. And about the 3D release, the director had this to say: "The 3D thing has been scrapped due to the usual budgetary concerns but the pressure is still on to come up with a kick ass film."

Albie Casiño Stars in "Wansapanataym" This Saturday
Albie Casiño stars in an episode of Wansapanataym to be aired this Saturday, September 10th.
Albie plays the role of Vincent who has a magical wallet that gives him anything that he needs as long as it fits inside the wallet – the exact amount of money he needs to pay their their debts, concert tickets, driver's license... you name it. But then Vincent realizes that the magic wallet cannot give him the most important thing in this world – people who cares.
In this Wansapanataym episode, Albie stars alongside Cris Villanueva, Kimberly Diaz and Miles Ocampo to inspire us with another light but nonetheless heartwarming story.
From the script by Cris Lim, this episode is directed by Manny Palo.

Andi Eigenmann Blogs About Her Baby's Father
Months after she admitted she was pregnant, Andi Eigenmann revealed the father of her child through her blog. Albie Casiño was named in one of her posts, although it was later edited and replaced with the words "the baby daddy (-_- really?)."
On the third paragraph of her September 4 post titled #welliwasneverreallytheconventionaltype, Andi originally wrote:
Maybe instead of feeling bad that Albie left me to take on this responsibility by myself, I should thank him for giving me the opportunity go out and find genuine happiness once again. I'd obviously love for him to be around eventually. You know, to save myself the struggle to find a good way to explain his absence to his child. At the same time, I'd understand. Cus after all, I have no idea who or what kind of a person all the fame and fortune has turned him into now. All I hope is that he's well.
Even before she made the post, though, people have always speculated that Albie was the father of the unborn since he was Andi's boyfriend when she got pregnant. It actually stained the wholesome image of the actor, and perhaps it was the reason why he was pulled out on some (if not all) of his acting projects that had been given to him before the news about Andi's pregnancy broke out.
Eventually, Albie was seen on Maalaala Mo Kaya and 100 Days to Heaven episodes. There were also reports that he would star in the TV adaptation of Problem Child where he would act opposite Cherie Gil, the original star of the movie who is also Andi's aunt. Recent talks, though, says that Albie will no longer be in the show. His role, according to the grapevine, had already been given to Paulo Avelino.
In the recent Star Magic Ball, Albie and Paulo seemed to be in good terms as evident in the photo below.

Albie Casiño Stars in "Problem Child"
And we thought Albie Casiño won't have acting projects anymore after he was pulled out of Growing Up and Way Back Home. After his being involved in Andi Eigenmann's pregnancy, a lot of people threw negative remarks to the young actor. But whether his haters like it or not, it made Albie more famous as a celebrity.
He was gone for a while before we saw him on a Maalaala Mo Kaya episode to the delight of his fans. He was also quite visible during the recent Star Magic Sportsfest. And now that talks about Andi's pregnancy is starting to fade, news about Albie Casiño starring in a soap surfaces.
The soap is a TV remake of the 1980 movie Problem Child which starred Cherie Gil and Lloyd Samartino. It's not yet clear, though, if Albie will be playing Lloyd's role or a male version of Cherie's. One thing is quite certain, though, that we'll see a different (read: sexier) Albie in this series.

Star Cinema Launches Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo in "Way Back Home"
Star Cinema has just released publicity photos for their upcoming movie titled Way Back Home which will launch the Mara Clara stars Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo.
The movie will also star Sam Concepcion and Enrique Gil as their respective leading men. The two are replacements to AJ Perez, who passed away last April, and Albie Casiño, who was said to be pulled out of the movie for being involved in the Andi Eigenmann controversy.
Directed by Jerry Lopez-Sineneng, Way Back Home will be released August 17, 2011.

"Growing Up" Teasers feat Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo
ABS-CBN has released a teaser for their upcoming youth-oriented show, Growing Up. The two videos show main stars Julia Montes and Kathryn Bernardo talking animatedly about their growing up experiences.
Julia and Kathryn will again be together in one show after their hit tandem in Mara Clara. But they're not gonna make us cry this time. They will actually act their age on the new show and worry about boys and other stuff teenagers go through.
Growing Up is said to replace Good Vibes on its Sunday afternoon timeslot. Good Vibes, a teen drama with focus on dance, is ending next month (August).
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN is also giving Julia and Kathryn their launching movie. Sam Concepcion will be Julia's loveteam. He replaced AJ Perez who passed away last April. Kathryn's supposed loveteam, Albie Casiño, was also recently replaced by Enrique Gil. Albie had also been pulled out of Growing Up due to his involvement in the issue of Andi Eigenmann's pregnancy.
