Albie Casiño's showbiz career seems to gloom with the controversy involving him with Andi Eigenmann's pregnancy. Even if Andi's camp doesn't name the young actor, saying alone that the father of her child is her first boyfriend drops the bomb. Of course, the public knows about their relationship and the bad breakup they went through recently.
What's more, clearing the name of the other person (read: Jake Ejercito) suspected of being the father of Andi's unborn only confirmed that the 17-year-old Albie, indeed, was the father.
The controversy has resulted into Albie's being pulled out from the projects that he was supposed to do. He is not anymore part of the upcoming Growing Up, and he was pulled out from the Julia Montes-Kathryn Bernardo launching movie.
Was it some sort of a punishment given to him by ABS-CBN? Or were they just afraid people wouldn't support the young actor anymore because of his involvement in the controversy?
Enrique Gil was reported to replace Albie in the Julia-Kathryn launching movie. His Good Vibes co-star Sam Concepcion is also in the movie as a replacement for AJ Perez who passed away in a tragic vehicular accident last April.
The original leading men are out. Of course, we don't wanna say that the movie is doomed and would like to think that it's just really not meant to be. But what do you think of the Julia Montes-Sam Concepcion love team? How about the Kathryn Bernardo-Enrique Gil team-up?
It's really sad that Albie Casiño is now out of the movie because the tandem had already developed a fan base from their Mara Clara days. Let's just hope, and I'm sure Albie's fans would agree with this, that the young actor would be given another chance, whether as Kathryn's love team or not.
