Sam Concepcion Takes On AJ Perez's Role

Before AJ Perez suffered a tragic death, he was supposed to do a movie with the Mara Clara stars that would mark his team-up with Julia Montes. But now that he's gone, his good friend Sam Concepcion is said to be taking his role.

Julia was reportedly asked whom she thought could take over the role. She dropped the name of Sam because he's the only one she could think of who's in her age bracket (Julia is 16; Sam is 18). Besides, the two are good friends. Their closeness started when they worked together in the now defunct teen-oriented show, Shout Out.

The movie that the two will be paired-up in will also star Kathryn Bernardo and Albie Casiño.
