"It's Showtime" summoned by MTRCB over Pastillas Girl segment

If "Eat Bulaga!'s" KalyeSerye featuring the AlDub love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub has been receiving praises from the Catholic church, it's rival show "It's Showtime's" Nasaan Ka Mr. Pastillas featuring Pastillas Girl Angelica Yap has called the attention of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) because of its allegedly pimping nature.

On Monday, MTRCB posted on its Twitter account that it has asked "It's Showtime" to appear before its Gender And Development (GAD) committee in connection with the controversial segment where they are looking for the next love interest of Pastillas Girl.

Ryzza Mae Dizon’s dignity violated; MTRCB summons ‘The Ryzza Mae Show’ and ‘Eat Bulaga!’

Representatives of The Ryzza Mae Show, including the mother of child star Ryzza Mae Dizon, and Eat Bulaga!, including the hosts of the noontime show that appeared in the questioned ‘Ang Joke Ko’ segment, are being summoned by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) for a conference.

On Tuesday evening, MTRCB posted on Twitter: “MTRCB expresses concern over child-unfriendly scenes in Eat Bulaga & Ryzza Mae Dizon Show.” It was followed by: “MTRCB summons Eat Bulaga & Ryzza Mae Dizon Show for alleged child-unfriendly scenes.”

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has called the attention of ABS-CBN, GMA-7 and TV5 regarding the “comedy bar humor” in comedy shows on TV.

Controversial ‘Wowowillie’ episode gets MTRCB’s attention

Due to its February 28 episode where host Willie Revillame castigated his co-hosts Ethel Booba and Ate Gay, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has summoned TV5 executives in charge of the noontime show Wowowillie.

On the government agency’s official Twitter account, MTRCB summoned the Kapatid Network “for gender-sensitivity and decorum inquiry over its noontime show.”

“Party Pilipinas” on 6-month probation by MTRCB

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has put GMA-7’s Sunday musical variety program Party Pilipinas on a six-month probation due to the “sexually-charged scenes” in the episode aired January 27.

The said scenes were actually a long production number of some of the show’s regulars including Yesterday’s Bride lead stars Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino, Jay-R, Mark Bautista, Glaiza de Castro and a lot more.
