"Gandang Gabi Vice" not suitable for minor audience

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has ordered that minors should not be allowed in the audience of ABS-CBN's Sunday night comedy talk show "Gandang Gabi Vice."

The order was in connection with the complaints the agency received regarding insulting scenes and words with double meaning in "GGV" as well as in the noontime show "It's Showtime" of which Vice is one of the hosts.

The agency recommended that Jose Marie Viceral (Vice Ganda's real name) and the staff of both "GGV" and "It's Showtime" should undergo an audience and child sensitivity seminar.

ABS-CBN was also ordered to undergo "remedial and self-regulatory measures" for three months.

The Kapamilya Network, on the other hand, assured MTRCB of its cooperation and will submit its self-regulatory recommendations on September 1.
