Sheryl Cruz was supposed to have a tell-all interview at the grand launch of "Felix Manalo" at the Manila hotel, but it didn't push through as she got disinvited at the event.

VP Binay open to running under administration coalition
Vice President Jejomar “Jojo” Binay would be the runaway winner if the presidential elections were held today, according to the latest Pulse Asia Survey.
President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III’s administration, however, has nothing to worry about because Binay says he is willing to run under a coalition. Binay was the national chairman of the Partido ng Demokratikong Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP–Laban) before he left the opposition coalition, while President Aquino is the current titular head of the Liberal Party.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has announced the partial list of party-list winners on Friday, May 24, 2013.
The announced 14 party-list groups are the initial winners in the party-list elections of May 13, 2013. These groups are each “entitled one guaranteed seat without prejudice to the allocation of additional seats, or the proclamation of other parties, organizations, or coalitions which may later on be established to be entitled one guaranteed seat and/or additional seat.”

Filipinos can now get election-related news and information such as precinct locations and voter registration status anytime and anywhere using their Android phones as ABS-CBN launches the new COMELEC Halalan 2013 application, now available for download via the Play Store.
A first of its kind in the country, the COMELEC Halalan 2013 application was developed by ABS-CBN in partnership with the Commission on Elections (Comelec). It allows voters to check the status of his/her registration and eligibility to vote via the “Registration Verification”.

Malabon Mayor Oreta dies at 73
Canuto “Tito” Oreta, mayor of Malabon City, has passed away on Monday.
The 73-year-old mayor, who has been battling lung cancer since 2007, died of multiple organ failure around 10:00 AM of September 3, 2012 at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City.
