Senator Bong Revilla denied any involvement with the pork barrel scam on Monday, January 20, 2014, during his privilege speech.
He has been mum about the issue but he decided to break his silence so the truth will be known.
“For the record, Mr. President, I have nothing to do with this scam, those whistleblowers, nor Janet Lim Napoles. I have no dealings and transactions with them,” Revilla said.
The actor-turned-senator showed pictures of documents that were said to be signed by him. The signatures were different in each, and all were different from his real signature.
Revilla then showed video clips where Luy admitted that there were instances that he really forged politicians’ signatures.
The senator also denied that Atty. Richard Gambe was his chief of staff and chief political officer, like what Luy said. He also proved the whistleblower’s statement wrong that Gambe received money for him on a specific date.
He then showed a picture of Gambe’s passport and a picture of Philippine Airlines’ record showing that the attorney was out of the country that day.
He, however, said that his family knows the family of Napoles but denied having anything to do with the P10-billion PDAF scam. His son Leonard Bryan Bautista and Napoles’ son James Christopher Napoles met in high school and eventually became business partners.
