Gerald Anderson to star in his first sexy-drama movie with Angelica Panganiban

Gerald Anderson and Angelica Panganiban are paired for the first time in a Star Cinema movie which will be directed by Ruel S. Bayani.

The director was the one who helmed the adult drama movies No Other Woman (2011) and One More Try (2012), the latter of which also had Angelica as one of the leads.

Just like those two movies, the upcoming one will also feature Gerald and Angelica in mature roles.

According to the director, "there will be a lot of love scenes" featuring two of the hottest Kapamilya stars.

"Because when you talk about passion and mature love, hindi naman maiiwasan ‘yun (sexy scenes) at ‘ yung mga napiling actors ay one of the sexiest artists," he said.

Meanwhile, this is not just Gerald's first sexy movie, but his first heavy drama as well. His most recent one was Erik Matti's action film, On The Job.

"Ang movie na ito ay hindi based sa chemistry ng dalawang bida. It's based on the story at kung paano namin gagawin. Sobrang exciting nito," Gerald said.

Angelica, on the other hand, is already excited to start shooting on Monday, promising to give it her best.
