UFC's Cung Le in Manila for Yolanda survivors

Balls Channel brings the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) experience to Manila as the UFC Middleweight Fighter and new “The Ultimate Fighter: China” coach Cung Le holds a charity event for Yolanda survivors on Wednesday (Jan 15).


Out of his good heart, Cung Le will be conducting a mixed martial arts (MMA) clinic as a charity event for Yolanda survivors at the SkyFitness Manila at the Podium in Pasig City. Participants will donate P1000 for a slot at the training session and will receive a free “Tulong Na” shirt.

The fighter-actor was recently cast as chief coach in the regional version of “The Ultimate Fighter (TUF),” “The Ultimate Fighting Champion: China,” which will be aired by ABS-CBN Sports this year. Cung Le will moderate the show, making sure all the fighters are UFC-quality.

Cung Le last fought in UFC: Macao in 2012 where he knocked out former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin. He holds a career record of 9-2-0, and is 2-1 in the UFC. He has also appeared in films like “Fighting,” “Tekken,” and “The Man with the Iron Fists.”
