Maja Salvador cries, says negative issues hurt her

Maja Salvador is a mistress in the upcoming series, The Legal Wife, but despite the bashing she receives saying she's portraying a role that she plays in real life, the actress said it is very different from what's happening in her lovelife.

“Ang layo ng character ko sa kung ano man ang nangyari sa akin sa totoong buhay,” she said in Buzz Ng Bayan on Sunday.

She also said that she didn't hesitate to accept the role when it was offered to her because she's an actress and she believes it is a great project.

Maja received criticisms when news about her romantic relationship with Gerald Anderson broke out. Gerald is the ex-boyfriend of Kim Chiu, Maja's former bestfriend.

During the interview, Maja confessed how she is hurt by all the negative words thrown against her by her bashers.

She also wasn't able to fight back her tears when she talked about how those negative issues affect her mother.

But of course life goes on for the actress. She said the people close to them are happy with her and Gerald's relationship and that's what matters. She, however, respects the opinions even of those who are against them.
