Aside from Robin, there are a lot of other Padillas in the movie including Robin's wife, Mariel Rodriguez, his brother Rommel, as well as Rommel's sons RJ, Ralph Matthew, and Daniel Padilla. Bela and Kylie Padilla are also in the cast.
The movie used to be titled Kuratong Baleleng. Issues with the original title, however, was the reason why its showing was postponed.
Sa Ngalan ng Ama, Ina at mga Anak was produced by Robin himself through his RCP Productions, together with Star Cinema.
