Kris Aquino renews contract with ABS-CBN

Kris Aquino has formally sealed her stay in ABS-CBN as she signed a renewal contract on Tuesday, January 14, 2014.

The contract signing was attended by ABS-CBN bosses including Gabby Lopez, Charo Santos-Concio, Cory Vidanes, and Deo Endrinal who is also the Queen of All Media's longtime manager.

Over the holidays while the TV host-actress was in London with her two sons, rumors about her transfer to another network became much talked about. In the end, however, she broke the news over Instagram that she is staying with the Kapamilya Network.

The future of her sons was the playing factor in her decision-making. She wants to save enough so that her sons would have a comfortable life no matter what happens to her. And she wants to do that before she reaches 45, the age when she plans to retire from showbiz.

During the contract signing, though, she was asked regarding the rumored network transfer. She answered the question with: "Who would want to leave if you're with the number one?"
