20th Screen Actors Guild Awards - Winners List

The Screen Actors Guild revealed the winners of its 20th edition on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, California.


SAG is always much-awaited every year as it gives us a feel of who will win at the Oscars, which means there's a big chance that Matthew McConaughey, Cate Blanchett, Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong'o will emerge as winners at the upcoming Academy Awards.

McConaughey won Best Actor for his role in Dallas Buyers Club. His co-star in the movie, Leto, won Best Supporting Actor. From Blue Jasmine, Blanchett emerged as the Best Actress. These three also won the same awards for the same roles at the recent Golden Globes and Critics Choice.

Meanwhile, SAG Best Supporting Actress Lupita Nyong'o (12 Years a Slave) also got the Critics Choice. She, however, lost to Jennifer Lawrence (American Hustle) at the Golden Globes.

Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series: Bryan Cranston, Breaking Bad

Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series: Maggie Smith, Downton Abbey

Best  Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries: Michael Douglas, Behind the Candelabra

Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries: Helen Mirren, Phil Spector

Best Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series: Modern Family

Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series: Ty Burrell, Modern Family

Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series: Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Veep

Best Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series: Game Of Thrones

Life Achievement Award: Rita Moreno

PBB Teen Edition 4 Audition at MOA on January 6 & 13

Aside from the London leg, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Season 4 is going to hold auditions at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City on January 6 and 13, 2012. To qualify, you must be 13-17 years old. Just bring your birth certificate to the audition venue along with a friend, relative or family member who is at least 20 years old.
