Kim Chiu said no walkout happened during their Tuesday night press conference for the upcoming Star Cinema movie, Bride For Rent.
It was allegedly showbiz reporter Aster Amoyo who walked out of the presscon after Kim answered her question with a “we don’t owe you any of our personal lives” line.

The walkout issue actually came from Twitter, as posted by Isah V. Red and Nherz Almo.

Kim, however, denied the rumors saying nobody walked out on her during the event.
“Wala namang nag-walk out,” she said during a bloggers’ conference on Wednesday, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com. “At nag-sorry naman ako agad.”
When asked if she got irritated by the incessant questions regarding the status of her relationship with her Bride For Rent leading man, Xian Lim, she said: “Hindi naman nakulitan, siguro medyo lang. Tao rin naman kami. Kahit artista kami, may nararamdaman din naman kami kapag medyo nasisindakan kami or kapag medyo iba na ‘yung klase ng pagtatanong.”
On Tuesday night, Aster described Kim and Xian’s evasive answers as “nakakaumay” when she asked Kim about the real score between her and the leading Man. She also sounded irritated while talking and it was perhaps what Kim found nakakasindak.
“We want an honest answer, kasi nauumay na rin kami, parati kaming nabibitin, may tinatanong kami kung anu-anong pasikut-sikot ang sinasagot sa amin, and this time we want an honest answer. Nasaang level na kayo ng inyong relasyon, and kayo na ba kung saka-sakali?” asked Aster Tuesday night.
Kim answered it with: “Ako, ano, sinabi ko na rin nga po ito sa last presscon naming dalawa, e. We don't owe you any of our personal lives siguro. You can think whatever you want to think as long as you're happy when you watch us on TV, nakikita niyo kung papano kami ma-inlove, ganyan. And 'yun na 'yon. And lahat naman tayo merong mga hindi dapat i-share o dapat i-share, and it's our choice, and I hope you guys respect that. Thank you.”
Kim said she felt bad when people started reacting negatively with how she answered that question, but said she immediately felt better when she read her fans’ messages of support on Twitter and Instagram.
Meanwhile, Bride For Rent is directed by Mae Czarina Cruz and also stars Pilita Corales and Martin Del Rosario. It opens in cinemas nationwide on January 15th.
