Paulo Avelino, one of Bea Alonzo's leading men in 'Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon'

Paulo Avelino is one lucky actor. Aside from having an ongoing television series, he already has a follow-up project that was announced by ABS-CBN on Thursday afternoon.

The award-winning actor is currently seen as Diego Layer in the hit primetime series, Honesto. It has topped the nationwide ratings since its pilot episode, just like his first Kapamilya series, Walang Hanggan.

On Thursday, he was presented as one of the leading men of Bea Alonzo in the upcoming drama series, Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon. Aside from Bea, the series will also be starred by top-caliber actors that include Albert Martinez, Tonton Gutierrez, Anita Linda, Dina Bonnevie and Susan Roces, who was also with Paulo in Walang Hanggan.

On the note that having multiple projects might cause issues with other Kapamilya stars, Paulo said, "Well, hindi naman siguro."

He also added that he worked hard for whatever he is reaping right now.

"I think, kumbaga, kung ano man yung estado ko ngayon pinagtrabahuhan ko rin naman... pinagtrabahuhan at pinaghirapan ko rin," he said, as quoted by pep.ph.

His new series, Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon, will start taping in February. It will be directed by Jerome Pobocan and Trina Dayrit, and also stars Iza Calzado and Michelle Vito.
