Four years after they broke up, Angel confessed she is still in love with Luis Manzano. The actress made the revelation on Wednesday during the press conference for her upcoming series, The Legal Wife.
Shortly after the big confession, Luis visited Angel in her dressing room at the ABS-CBN compound. It could have been very awkward for Angel, but she said Luis went there to show her support to her upcoming series.
“Nandoon naman siya para sumuporta. Hindi naman siya nangulit or anything. Nandoon siya para magbigay ng support,” Angel said during an interview on the radio program, Mismo, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com.
“Medyo feeling! Feeling-feeling siya!” the actress further said. “Kasi ‘yung mga bagay nga na hindi namin napag-uusapan, or hindi ko nasasabi sa kanya, o kahit mga ‘I miss you,’ walang gano’n eh. So nagulat siya na narinig niya.”
Angel also said that while she’s happy with the reconciliation, it doesn’t mean that they have already rekindled their love.
“Inaayos pa rin naman namin. Hindi naman ibig sabihin na magiging kami na agad, kasi meron pa kaming issues na hindi naso-solve talaga before. But right now, okay kami,” she said.
Angel has just broke up with athlete Phil Younghusband, confirming the end of their one-year relationship last October. But she said Luis had nothing to do with the separation.
Coincidentally, Luis also confirmed his split with actress Jennylyn Mercado last October.
