UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs Thatch rumblin' and tumblin' on Balls

Brandon Thatch finally makes his return after a 15-month hiatus and will face Ben Henderson in the Octagon to headline UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs Thatch which will air the five-round fight Sunday (Feb. 15) on Balls Channel at 11:30 AM.

Thatch burst onto the scene via two impressive wins, one via submission and one via technical knockout, during UFC Fight Night 27 and 32. The 170-lb welterweight, who holds a 10-1-0 card, is out to prove that having been laid off for a year does not mean that he has lost his fire or ability to crush opponents inside the cage.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight fighter Carlos Condit wowed the UFC fans at the Trinoma Activity Center during his open training last November 8.

The UFC fighter who holds a 29-8-0 fight record showed no signs of slowing down despite a recent knee surgery as he displayed crisp striking, powerful kicks and technical grappling skills that thrilled the thousands of MMA fans in attendance.

UFC Welterweight Fighter Carlos Condit makes crowd go wild during public open training

UFC’s “The Natural Born Killer” Carlos Condit  made the crowd at Trinoma Activity Center cheer loudly as he showcased cool combinations during his public open training.

UFC Welterweight Fighter Carlos Condit kicks off media tour in Manila

World renowned UFC fighter Carlos Condit is in Manila for the annual UFC press tour, open work-out and meet and greet session with his fans. Organized by Balls Channel, the home of the biggest sporting events in the world, the American mixed martial artist will be in the country from November 6-9.

With a 29-8-0 fight record, Carlos Condit, known as “The Natural Born Killer”, is on the road to full recovery following surgery on his knee due to the ACL injury he suffered in his welterweight fight against Tyron Woodley last March. He has been medically cleared to resume light training and Condit targets a return to the Octagon in 2015.

Urijah "The California Kid" Faber visits Philippines for the 1st time

Balls Channel, home of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welcomes longtime UFC fighter Urijah “The California Kid” Faber as he visits the Philippines for the first time for Tag Team Sport Management’s “The California Kid in Manila.”

Rockhold vs. Philippou to air on Balls Channel

Balls Channel airs a battle between two warriors looking to get back on track in the  Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as former Strikeforce champion Luke Rockhold goes head-to-head with hard-hitting contender Costa Philippou in UFC Fight Night 35: Rockhold vs Philippou on Thursday (Jan 16).


Both fighters suffered defeats in their previous match and neither has ever had a losing streak in their respective careers. They will face each other in a 5-round middleweight in Atlanta. Plus, 185-pounders remain on center stage in the co-main event as rising stars Lorenz Larkin and Brad Tavares meet in an effort to move up the middleweight ladder.

Balls Channel brings the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) experience to Manila as the UFC Middleweight Fighter and new “The Ultimate Fighter: China” coach Cung Le holds a charity event for Yolanda survivors on Wednesday (Jan 15).


Out of his good heart, Cung Le will be conducting a mixed martial arts (MMA) clinic as a charity event for Yolanda survivors at the SkyFitness Manila at the Podium in Pasig City. Participants will donate P1000 for a slot at the training session and will receive a free “Tulong Na” shirt.

Mark “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” Muñoz returns inside the octagon after suffering an elbow injury to face Chris “The All-American” Weidman on UFC on Fuel TV 4 live via satellite, Thursday, on Balls.

This is Muñoz first fight since he picked up a fourth consecutive victory in a bout against Chris Leben. He was scheduled to fight Chael Sonnen but the severity of his injury forced him out of his bout. Now, the Filipino Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter is back in action, determined to be the ultimate contender for the UFC middleweight title.

UFC Fighter Mark Muñoz is ready for upcoming UFC battle

We met the “Filipino Wrecking Machine”, Mark Muñoz during the first episode of the three-part documentary, UFC sa ABS-CBN: Mark Muñoz, The Ultimate Pinoy Fighter. During the second episode this Saturday, we will follow his training and preparation for his upcoming fight.

We will also meet Chris Weidman, the #10 middleweight fighter of the world, one of the challenges that Mark needs to overcome to become the champion. The two are scheduled to face each other in a heated fight this July 11.

UFC 148: Silva-Sonnen live via satellite on Balls

Not long after the booming fistfight of Wanderlei Silva and Rich Franklin, UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen will be staged by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The fight will take place on July 7, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The bout was originally scheduled for UFC 147 but due to a scheduling conflict, it was moved to UFC 148. Chael Sonnen, who is currently holds the number two rank middleweight in the MMA website Sherdog, challenged the number one pound-per-pound fighter and current middleweight champion, Anderson Silva.
