UFC’s “The Natural Born Killer” Carlos Condit made the crowd at Trinoma Activity Center cheer loudly as he showcased cool combinations during his public open training.
Condit partnered with ABS-CBN’s Integrated Sports CMG, Chris Wong in showing off his fighting skills to the mixed martial arts (MMA) fans who were in attendance.
The UFC Fighter who holds a 29-8-0 fight record showed no signs of slowing down despite a recent knee surgery as he displayed powerful kicks that sent the thousands of MMA fans screaming.
Condit also has his share of setbacks in the UFC, but the American mixed martial artist stated that like a true fighter, he is not easily disheartened by failures.
“Failures are part of life. Nobody’s going to succeed all the time. Failure and bumps on the road are just challenges to learn from.”
Condit said his passion for mixed martial arts started when he was around 10 years old and he has always showed great interest in it.
The Welterweight fighter also expressed gratitude to the warm welcome he has received in the Philippines during his three-day stay.
“What’s blown me away since I’ve been here is just the warmth and friendliness of the people.”
The annual UFC press tour, open work-out and meet and greet session was organized by Balls Channel, the home of the biggest sporting events in the world.
