Disney has released a new teaser for the upcoming movie "Into The Woods" featuring "Stay With Me" as sung by the witch (Meryl Streep) in an attempt to talk her daughter into staying with her in the woods.
"Stay at home, I am home. Who out there could love you more than I?" says the witch to the crying Rapunzel (Mackenzie Mauzy) in one part of the song.
"Into The Woods" author James Lapine said "Stay With Me" touches him the most among all the score of the movie.
"I love, of course, all the score but the one that touches me the most is 'Stay With Me' when the witch who's been such an abrasive character sings to her daughter about not wanting to let her child go," Lapine said.
Meanwhile, composer Stephen Sondheim praised Streep for her talents.
"Meryl Streep is so remarkable. She is able to find colors in lyric that I've rarely come across. She would do number of takes in the songs in the recording studio and every take was different in some way," Sondheim said.
Watch Meryl Streep sing "Stay With Me" as the witch in the teaser below.
Directed by Rob Marshall, "Into The Woods" is set for release this December.
