The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight fighter Carlos Condit wowed the UFC fans at the Trinoma Activity Center during his open training last November 8.
The UFC fighter who holds a 29-8-0 fight record showed no signs of slowing down despite a recent knee surgery as he displayed crisp striking, powerful kicks and technical grappling skills that thrilled the thousands of MMA fans in attendance.
Condit also has his share of setbacks in the Octagon, but the American mixed martial artist stated that like a true fighter, he is not easily disheartened by failures.
“Failures are part of life. Nobody’s going to succeed all the time. Failure and bumps on the road are just challenges to learn from.”
Condit said his passion for mixed martial arts started when he was 10 years old and he has always showed great interest in it.
The welterweight fighter also expressed gratitude to the warm welcome he has received in the Philippines during his three-day stay.
“What’s blown me away since I’ve been here is just the warmth and friendliness of the people.”
