Miss Universe Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was crowned Miss Universe 2015 during the pageant night that was held in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday night, December 20, 2015.

Pageant host Steve Harvey, however, announced the wrong winner at first, naming Colombia as the winner instead of first runner-up. It was only after she has been crowned that the host corrected his announcement and crowned the real winner - Miss Universe Philippines.

The Miss Universe 2015 coronation night happens in Las Vegas on Sunday, December 20 (Monday morning in Manila), and Philippines’ bet Pia Wurtzbach is asking for help.
On her personal Instagram account, Pia posted a photo on Saturday afternoon showing her doing the "pabebe wave" as she asks the AlDub Nation (fans of the AlDub love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub) to help her win the beauty pageant.

Paulina Vega of Colombia wins Miss Universe 2014
Miss Colombia Paulina Vega was named the 63rd Miss Universe (2014) on Sunday, January 25th (Monday morning in Manila) in Florida, USA. The pageant night hosted by Natalie Morales and Thomas Roberts with Jeannie Mai.
Paulina Vega, 22, bested 87 other contestants, including the Philippines’ Mary Jean Lastimosa, 27, who went as far as the Top 10.
